ORIGIN & FUNCTIONS

COUNTY MANAGER

Appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, the County Manager administers and supervises the County's main twelve divisions of government: Citizen Services; Economic Development; Emergency Management; Finance; Fire and Rescue Services; Health Services; Interagency Information Technologies; Management Services; Permitting and Development Review; Planning; Public Works; and Utilities and Solid Waste Management.

FINANCE DIVISION
The Finance Division oversees five units: Accounting, Budget, Purchasing, Risk Management, and Treasury (County Code, secs. 1-8-1 through 1-8-421; 2-7-1 through 2-7-201).
