On November 18, 2003, the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals established the Conference of Orphans' Court Judges. The Conference consults with and advises the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals on matters affecting the Orphans' Court. Meeting quarterly, the Conference provides a forum where judges may relate their experiences, and share helpful tools and resources, as well as improve communications with judges and clerks of both trial courts.

Appointed by the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals, the Conference consists of fourteen members who serve two-year terms. The Administrative Office of the Courts serves as secretariat to the Conference.
